Q: Do you accept credit cards/ checks?

A: Yes – MasterCard, Visa & Discovery cards. With credit cards and checks, the date is secured once the payment clears your financial institution.

Q: What is a retainer fee?

A: A retainer fee is a partial payment you make to secure our services for your event on a specific date.

Q: Do you require a retainer fee and a signed contract?

A: Yes. We require a non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of the full package price, or a minimum of $300 (whichever is greater). We will send you a contract and expect you to return it with your signature and retainer fee within two weeks. Your date is not officially secure until your retainer fee and contract is in our hands. If we do not receive your retainer fee and signed contract by the due date listed on your contract, we reserve to rebook the date without notice.

Q: Is my retainer fee refundable in the event is canceled?

A: No. Your retainer fee is non-refundable to protect us from lost bookings due to us scheduling your event. However, you may use that retainer towards a rescheduled event (if we have the date open) for up to one year from the original date.

Q: When is the balance due for my event?

A: Unless other payment arrangements have been made, we require that the balance due be paid  10 business days prior to the event.

Q: What is the charge for additional hours or the event goes longer than planned?

A: We don’t want to spoil the event by turning you into a clock watcher, or have you go over budget. We’ll happily keep going for a reasonable amount of time and can work out an arrangement to meet your needs. In keeping with our policy to be up front with our customers, our standard charge for additional hours can be up to $125.00 per hour. We work this out in advance with our clients so we have a defined amount of event time and our clients have a fixed price range preventing costly overtime situations from occurring.

Q: Why are you so cheap? Why are you so expensive?

A: We hear both of these questions. The DJ/MC is often one of the lower expenditures of your entire event, but will have the biggest impact! We base our services by the needs of your event – time, equipment and event prep. Overall, we strive to provide a high quality professional service at a very reasonable price.

Q: My event is longer/shorter than your standard packages. Will you still work with me?

A: We offer straightforward pricing that allows us to offer a high quality service. We can customize our services to our clients’ needs when requested. There are many factors to consider, so please contact us for a quote.
